Butter Ombré Cake

Any day is a Butter Cake day!

Ingredients:
250g salted butter, softened
160g sugar
75g milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
4 Large Eggs
Sift together:
120g Plain Flour
100g Cake Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
Cocoa Pasta:
25g cocoa powder
50g boiling water
50g sugar
1/3 tsp baking soda
½ tsp vanilla essence
Method:
Preheat Oven at 180 degrees
Cream butter with sugar until pale and fluffy
Beat in the eggs gradually, then beat in vanilla essence
Add half of the flour, slowly mix in the mixer, then add in milk, and the remaining flour.
Pour 325g of batter into the cocoa pasta, mix and take out 325g of cocoa batter into prepared pan
Pour 225g of batter into the remaining cocoa batter, mix and gently spread over the first layer
Top with the remaining batter
Bake for 1hr
